What affects the price
Every system is different, so we don't do mystery pricing — we diagnose, show you the findings, and quote before any work begins. These are the factors that move the number:
Inspection depth
A visual check is different from a full camera inspection of the lines. We'll recommend the right level for your situation — not the biggest one.
Real estate timelines
Buying or selling, inspections are scheduled to hit your due-diligence window. Tell our office your closing date.
Locating work
If the tank's location is unknown or lids are buried deep, locating adds time. We'll tell you before we start.
What we find
The inspection itself is the product — if repairs are needed, you get a separate, no-obligation quote with the photo evidence behind it.
Fresh out of the ground

Questions we hear every week
Should I get a septic inspection before buying a home in the Charlotte area?
Yes — a septic system is one of the most expensive components of a home, and a standard home inspection barely touches it. Local home inspectors refer their own clients to us for exactly this reason. An inspection before closing tells you what you're really buying.
What does your septic inspection include?
We locate and open the tank, check levels and structural condition, inspect baffles and filters, evaluate the lines, and assess how the drain field is accepting water — documented with photos and explained in plain English.
How often should a septic system be inspected in North Carolina?
Every 1–3 years is the widely used guideline, sooner if you've noticed odors, slow drains, or wet spots. Regular inspections are how small, cheap problems stay small and cheap.
Do you do inspections for home sales and real estate closings?
Yes — buyers, sellers, and agents across the Charlotte area use us for due-diligence inspections. We work to your closing timeline and deliver findings you can hand to the other party.
What if the inspection finds a problem?
You get the evidence — photos and a plain-English explanation — plus a separate quote for the fix. There's no obligation, and no scare tactics. Plenty of inspections end with 'you're in good shape.'
Which areas do you cover for inspections?
Charlotte and the surrounding communities across Mecklenburg, Union, Cabarrus, Iredell, and Gaston county areas — including Matthews, Waxhaw, Monroe, Concord, Huntersville, Davidson, and Mooresville.
